Gene Wobbe - Vice President
Gene Wobbe is a proud native Oregonian and a successful business owner/operator of a land surveying firm in Florence, Oregon. For over 40 years, Gene worked as a land surveyor and water right examiner for the community. He also served as an officer and board member for various organizations throughout the Florence area.
Gene is happily married to his wife Cindy Wobbe and together they have been blessed with four children and seven grandchildren. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, aviation, and World War II history. A favorite quote of Gene’s: “It has been said when a man dies, he lives on in the hearts and memories of this friends. But when they are gone, it is as if he never lived.”
Gene holds the utmost respect for our military veterans and feels that the Oregon Coast Military Museum is an excellent way to acknowledge, honor, and remember those who sacrificed their lives in preserving our freedom. May they all live forever in our hearts and memories…
