The Oregon Coast Military Museum erected two vintage military aviation wing tanks at the Kingwood Street driveway entrance to the Museum, to enhance visibility of the facility as a destination attraction. The two tanks, from a 1970’s era F4 fighter, were donated by Florence resident Fred Calosso, and stand approximately 15’ tall, to greet visitors to the Museum. Your Museum has been busy this spring preparing new displays, planning annual events and changing operations.
We are pleased to announce we are now open five days a week - Wednesday thru Sunday, from Noon until 4:00 p.m.! This allows visitors more opportunities to view our displays and exhibits and learn more about military heritage.
