Date of Parade: Saturday -November 11th, 2023
Parade Starts at: 1:00 P.M.

2023's Grand Marshall: Russ Connelley - Second World War Veteran

Staging begins at 11:30 A.M. at the Florence Christian Church off 2nd & Ivy Street. A Cruise will follow the parade for participating entries and will provide an extended route through Florence; For full enjoyment of the parade, please see the map of the Parade Route to find a great viewing point.

Join the Parade
Welcome to this year's parade! We are excited to have you join us in celebrating our nation and honoring our Veterans. All entries are encouraged to feature patriotic or Veteran orientated themes and will be judged accordingly. Registration is open to all and free of charge. To join in the festivities, please complete the online or physical registration form and submit it no later than two weeks prior to the parade. All participants must submit a signed waiver prior to the parade start. For more information, please contact us via email or phone.

Parade Logo Design Contest
The Florence Veterans Day Parade Committee is looking for an official logo and we want you to help! Get your creative ideas flowing and design an eye-catching, show-stealing new logo that will help us represent our Veterans and show all of our appreciation to them! The winner will be announced
Designs are encouraged to be Patriotic or reflect values of our Community’s Veterans.
HOW TO ENTER
Design a logo and upload either a .jpeg, .png, .tiff, or .pdf format and submit it online via the form below
OR mail to P.O. Box 2040, Florence Oregon 97439 (Please address to “Vet Parade”)
OR bring in a physical copy to the Museum Wednesday-Sunday, 10:00AM to 5:00PM

PRIZE:
The winner who has their design chosen will receive a free family membership to the Oregon Coast Military Museum (Valid for 1 Year) & a Thank You gift Basket.*
*Design submissions will become the property of the Florence Veterans Day Parade Committee (501c3 Non-Profit) and may be used at their discretion.
